VisualDx is offering FREE* trial access to medical students currently involved in DIGA. VisualDx is an award-winning diagnostic clinical decision support system that has become the standard electronic resource at more than half of U.S. medical schools and more than 2,300 hospitals and clinics worldwide. VisualDx combines problem oriented clinical search with the world’s best curated medical image library, plus medical knowledge from experts to help with differential diagnosis, variation, treatment, and patient communication. Our mission is to improve healthcare decision making and reduce diagnostic errors.
What you receive:
VisualDx web and mobile access for 3 months (a $99 value per student).
-Differential diagnosis builder
-Medical image library to understand variations of disease.
-Expert content covering diseases across medicine.
How to get started:
Please send an email to Lauren MacDonough, email@example.com, at VisualDx with a list of NO MORE than 20 interested and engaged students. List must include students’ full names, school email addresses, and expected graduation dates.
You CAN extend FREE trial access for an additional three months by doing the following:
- Introducing faculty (dermatology or otherwise) to your appointed VisualDx representive and engaging in a conversation about adding VisualDx to curriculum.
- Facilitating a large-scale demonstration (number of students needed to attend to be determined by VisualDx) within the first 2 weeks of your access. VisualDx will host the demonstration.
- Asking your school’s medical librarian to continue access on your behalf.
If above is not completed to the satisfaction of VisualDx, access will end 3 months from the first day of access which will be expressly written in your emails when credentials are sent. You cannot apply for free access until next school year.
